Not dead, just inclusive: PC gaming on more machines

I agree, pc is a potential platform. we need more pc exclusive games, and wich do not demand the best graphics cards or 6 Gb of ram

I do agree in some ways that PC is a big platform. But because not everyone is good at knowing how a PC works or how to use one they go for consoles just becuase it's easier.

games like crysis and battlefield with high graphics are amazing on PC. But becuase of how much they require not everyone can play them. But becuase there light on consoel and it's an easy pop in and play, again it's console

The pc is diferent from consoles, yet so many games are for both.
I mean, a keyboard has so many buttons.
COntrollers are different to.
So, i guess there should be more exclusives.

It's hard to play catch-up on the hardware department as not all of us can afford it (with the games already expensive)...I bought my Alienware system just last year...and I know sooooon, a horde of new games will require even more processing power than what I currently have...suck when it starts to happen!

Consoles never appealed to me...I've seen games tested on big LED TV screens (via gaming consoles) in the mall and they look very nice...but the "feel" on the PC is just different.

PC is the way to go I only recently purchased my m17x and can't believe what i was missing out on. Being a console kid my whole life I never realized how much better it could get. Making games for lower specs is a good idea as long as they don't start focusing all the attention on that and forget about the high end content

About time someone brought the common sense to the table. Now if we can apply this to everything the world would be a better place.

I wonder what they'll have to sacrifice to enable new games for weaker machines... I see it taking a serious toll on visuals.
But ultimately I agree that gaming is far from dead, as long as games like LoL are around, where just about anyone with a gig of RAM can play, haha!

I think the reason why PC gaming is huge because there are just a lot more PC owners. A lot more PC owners implies a lot more of potential PC gamers. People don't buy a console to watch movies. They buy it to play games. People don't buy a computer just to play games. They buy it to do everything else.

PC IS PC!!!

Consoles are easy to use. plug in and games work. Guess that's why these are chosen above PC's.

Yes, I agree. Though I hope they don't think all PC games are the same.

I want PC exclusive games! But they can't make them all high end because I know a lot of people who would be interested in getting them, but they don't have the rig set up for it.. But yes, PC GAMING ALL THE WAY :D

There are quite a few PC-exclusive games, but they mostly are free-to-play games or MMORPGs. People need to remember that in order for games to be played on consoles, it first needs to be tested and programmed via computers. I agree that it definitely is harder to get the best of anything for computers, but one can manage to play on high settings even with a rig that is about 2 years old. I personally have a set that, on average, is 4 years old. It still can run many of the latest games at good Frames.

THE PC SHALL NEVER DIE!

As long as games require more than 6 buttons to be pushed, there will be a need for PC games. Except when we control it with our mind/eyes/movement.

EA's CCO said PC gaming is dying, when they actually sells PC copies of Battlefield 3 more than X360's & PS3's combined...

this is not true BF3 has sold more Xbox 360 copies then the others combined. With PS3 in 2nd and PC with the least sold

Wow nice info there, then I guess I must have been misdirected by inaccurate source of information lol xD cause my previous source states around 60% of Battlefield 3 selling was on PC lol

Nope once Battlefield came on console the BF series was always sold more on Xbox then anywhere else. BF has been huge on console for a shooter especially on Xbox right there with halo and COD

Except BF2 that was the record BF game and it's title held on PC until BF3. While BFBC held the console record until once again BF3

I'm all for quality games with low system requirements.
