Steamy Valves incoming: Counter-Strike GO or DotA 2?

There are a lot of great PC developers. But I've always held a soft spot for Valve. Good news is, the venerable game-maker has a couple of exciting releases coming up you should know about. 

First, because kids can't stop playing Counter-Strike, comes Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (or "GO"). The game is coming to Steam "early next year" and is reportedly being built from the ground up, as opposed to modified CS: Source code.

Competetive shooter fans rejoice. 

The second game started as a modified Blizzard game: Warcraft 3: Defense of the Ancients. The new trailer was released today, and DotA 2 is expected later this year. Think that could have an impact on your League of Legends intake?

Either way, which of the two "Valves" are you most excited to play?

Looks awesome, I know I'll be playing a lot of CSGO when it's out, and once my computer is finished, Dota 2 looks amazing, however I am not quite sure if it will live up to the ease and fun of LoL. Sniper looks pretty interesting, I'd love to see some gameplay of him.

mmm i only recently got into the LoL HoN type of games, not sure what the genre is called so im going to say CS:GO i love shooters especially ones where if you are skilled you shine :D

probably won't be playing either, I disliked DOTA and love LoL, so no need to change there, and I was never a huge fan of CS anyway, though a DoD remake would be cool.

It is based off of the Source engine just not using CSS source code and modifying it, which shows how commited Valve is to bring great games rather than just throwing out new games for money, though L4D2 was probably the same source code as L4D 1 with additions and different models etc. But, CS:GO is not :)

Definitely want to play DoTA 2. Loved the first one, we used to play matches after WoW raids before BWL was even out and there was nothing to do.
