Diablo III named "most playable of the year" by Alienware readers

I suspected how you would vote when I asked last month which game you would likely play the most this year. I was right.

The vast majority were quick to cite Diablo III as the game you intend to play most this year, this despite several other upcoming games. 

At the same time, many of you expressed your continued love for Skyrim, League of Legends, and Battlefield 3. And of course, StarCraft 2. 

Regarding unreleased games, a significant number expected to play Dota 2 the most by year's end. Surprisingly, there wasn't a terrible amount of interest in CS: GO, although the original Counter-Strike was mentioned often.

I enjoy it except that you must have an internet connection to play it at all. I was looking forward to a distraction inbeetween archery groups this summer!

I don't like the type of gameplay, I prefer Skyrim, it's a shame Skyrim don't have multiplayer.

Yeah I like Torchlight 2 more considering Diablo 3 also has that auction house.

Sorry i've already stopped playing D3 2-3 weeks ago, game is just like 2nd with better graphics but less customization and less fun...was really expecting better than that boring POS

I'm having a pretty good time with it so far, but I'm honestly hoping that Torchlight 2 comes out on top. Blizzard has been the king in the genres they cater to for so long that they're starting to take it for granted (hence D3 falling below expectations even though a lot of those expectations were unreachable); and they need a wake up call.

D3 is a fun game but after a while you get bored of farming Inferno and leveling up other characters.

Torchlight 2 might bring the same as D3. Yes there is more customization there but it will end up being boring. The big plus for Torchlight 2 is that they will allow user modifications which is what made Torchlight fun for me.

Its not a perfect game of course but it is really popular and when you play with friends it makes your experience 2x better. I can understand why it is the most playable game of the year but it still has many faults that stagger this vote.
