One month after releasing the console version, Rockstar Games today announced it's bringing LA Noire to PC at an undisclosed date this fall. As one of the most proven developers in the world, it's good news for mouse and keyboard fans.
Not only that, but Rockstar promises "increased fidelity, graphical enhancements, and 3D" on PC, in addition to keyboard remapping and gamepad support.
That said, why not release Red Dead Redemption first? Released 13 months ago on consoles and named by many as game of the year, Read Dead is not only the better game, it's a lot less repetative when compared to LA Noire.
Maybe Rockstar views the more adventure-friendly LA Noire as a better fit. I have no idea. But this strategic delay of more awesome games in light of overblown fears of piracy has gotta stop.
Give us your entire catalog, Rockstar, and we'll give you our money. Scouts honor.
