It's made by the guy who did Super Meat Boy and Gish. It's a comically gory Zelda clone meats top-down shooter. It's hard as hell. And it's a fun diversion (not to mention the second best way to celebrate Zelda's 25th anniversary outside of firing up that unused Wii beneath your TV to play the stunning Skyward Sword).
Granted, The Binding of Isaac won't win any awards. But for $5 freakin' dollars, it's a good time. Play it, or at least consider it, if you haven't already.
