Repent, ye, repent, ye, PC gamers. Put Trine 2 on your radar

October 11th, 2010

As a lower profile downloadable game, a lot of PC gamers missed the original Trine when it released last year.

Big mistake, gamers.

Trine is one of the best platforming games the PC has seen in a really long time (not to mention one of the few on the platform). With its sometimes finicky controls, it rightfully didn't win any game of the year awards. But it's still a fun, magical-looking, and well-told game that's easily worth its $20 sticker price.

Whether you played the original or not, be sure to follow Trine 2, which looks even better. New modes include online and offline co-op. And of course, "Giant mushrooms, a greedy toad, and 500% more rainbows."
