What's your favorite all-time PC game intro?

PC Gamer has named their top 10 picks for best PC game intro.

I've never played Pathologic, but as for the rest of them, I'd pretty much agree. Especially with Half-Life, as no other game intro has left quite the same impression on me. Awesome.

What's your favorite PC game intro?

Speaking of awesome intros, if you've never played World of Goo — my favorite indie game in the world ever — now you really have no excuse not to play it. The puzzle game is just $5 right now. Double awesome.

I agree with some of these, especially Half-life and Mass Effect. Dragon Age: Origins had a few good intros, while otheres were questionable or boring. The Dwarf noble had the greatest intro in the game, in my opinion.

My personal favorite is the intro to Mafia.

I have only seen the ME 2 and Half-Life intros and they were pretty good, and yes World of Goo is epic!

Hmmm..
My favorite intro's are from some old school games.
Like Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy and all the spyro games (PSX)
And fcourse FF. they have most likely the longest and most awesomenest intro's.
But i stick with Jack and Daxter :D

I have to agree on Mass Effect 2 and Half-Life. I also liked Legend of Dragoon's intro myself.

I loved the intro for Fallout 3. It was such a refreshing start to a game with a creative way to add statistics. It never got old.

My favorite intro was..

MARIO PAINT.

Why? Because it was interactive and had eastereggs hidden within it.
I probably spent hours on the intro alone just messing around.

i always dont care about games intro
as long as the graphic is excellent (Crysis 2)
and the sound is superb(Battlefield BC2)
