League of Legends Battlegrounds Summer Season Begins

The Summer Season for the League of Legends Battlegrounds is now open for registration and play. The Captains and A-Captains of teams that participated in the Spring Season will have the option to copy over their entire team's roster when they register for the Summer Season. So, instead of reforming your entire team, make sure your Captain, or A-Captain, re-registers your team and copies over your entire roster.

The first weekly scheduled match will be scheduled to play for May 24th. Like the Spring Season, the top teams at the end of the season will be invited to the Invitational Tournament to play for $1750 in cash prizes. 

Registration: Open Now!
Play Begins: May 24, 2012
Spring Season Ends: July 15, 2012
Invitational Tournament (Top 32 Teams): July 21 - August 2, 2012
Invitational Tournament Prizes: $1,750
