Alienware @ QuakeCon 2012

QuakeCon 2012 has come and gone but you can still check out all the photos and our video recap of one of the best events and gaming weekends we've participated in. We had such a blast that we're already thinking of ways for Alienware's presence at QuakeCon 2013 to be even bigger, better, and more bad-ass.
Alienware was pretty busy at QuakeCon this year as we had our Alienware Lounge and VIP row in addition to our main competitive play booth on the main exhibit floor. In the booth, up to 16 players were able to throwdown at once on various games for a shot to win t-shirts, beta codes, and other prizes. Below you can see a shot of the build as it compares to the original concept that we were going for. Pretty spot on if we say so ourselves.

VIDEO RECAP
VIP ROW
Prior to QuakeCon, we held a contest where Alienware owners attending the BYOC floor were able to enter to win a seat in our VIP row where they got to enjoy the weekend in style with fancy pants executive chairs that were oh-so-comfortable, draped tables of +3 anti-splintering from wood, and 30" Ultrasharp IPS monitors for maximum clarity and minimum eye-strain. Oh, and did we mention bags of goodies and Alienware merch too? We like to spoil our VIPs.

Many thanks again to GUNNAR Optiks for providing the GUNNAR glasses for our VIPs and to Fatboy USA for all the huge bean bag chairs that tons of BYOC attendees apparently really apprecated and slept on late into the night. Thanks to all of our Alienware VIPs and QuakeCon attendees for the awesome weekend.
QuakeCon 2013 can't come quick enough!

QuakeCon is free to attend, but you can pay to have a reserved seat in the LAN area, or to get QuakeCon gear (shirts, etc.). There is also the cost of getting to and staying in Dallas if you're not a local.
