I'm thinking CS:GO will definitely be better. CS and CS:S have always been considered great games and there are still a lot of players currently. Therefore, why wouldn't CS:GO be just as good?

Why would they? It's a completely different type of game.
hopefully it will be competitive as cs 1.6
If it is CS 1.6 with SOME features of CS:S then we could see this game rise as a big competitor in professional gaming where counter-strike belongs, but i hope its a good game in he long run :D

i saw the trailers as well, and doesnt really appeal. Hopefully when i do get the game my opinion will change.
CS was the first FPS I really got into so iam super stoked for CS:GO, but in my opinion it isn't as much of a mainstream game as COD or BF so I don't think it will be as well known to the casual gamer.
"Supposedly" it plays the same as CS but with better graphics so polishing a gem like CS seems like a good idea to me.

I hope it will be bigger, and better, not just to old fans but to new players as well. Seems like the graphics wont beat BF3 nor MW3 but the realism is what counts on CS, so lets hope the best
