Have you ever made any specific types of youtube videos that actually were kind of successful gathering allot of views.

never have. only made 1 video and it has just over 100 views.

When i was 11 or 12 or something (i'm 16 now) imade a horrible youtube video with bad grammar and just horrible quality yet it still got about 1.2k views.

Sadly, YouTube is a luck game now a days because the site has grown so massively over the years. You just have to tightly cross your fingers and hope someone already successful promotes your video so you gain some audience. My biggest hit has been 3k views.

My friend uploaded a gameplay video of his and got over 10k views only because the game is popular haha.

I think my most viewed is how to make a magic memory stick and it had like 2k views. Most of my vids get 100 views :)

On december 2004, i made a music video on World of Warcraft beta that got popular because the French Community manager posted it on the wow-europe.com/fr main page ... without asking me before.
I remember my old wanadoo FTP account getting closed in 2hours after that because of the massive trafic, then the wow community manager hosted the video on blizzard website.

Many people rehosted it many times everywhere, so i really don't know how much times it has been viewed at all :)
Only number i know is that on my own accounts it's more than 30.000 and on warcraft movies seems to be 14.000 (http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=268)

Google-ing "wow zapping sky-dexter" on google gives many results and don't even know if all video where posted under my nick so...... :p

For all the video, the number of viewers are really unknown, it's 7years old, posted everywhere and not by me ... (and no one asked me of course! :D)

Oh yeah, and of course, i was young and it was my very first tests on doing videos and editing.... :D

I made one of me and my friends doing the Cinnamon Challenge. It did pretty well considering 2 of us puked haha.

I got about 3k views, I stopped making vids because uploading them uses too much of my bandwidth ._. and total views of all my vids combined is like 14k.
