AlienFX & SWTOR

Has anyone been able to get it to work when you open SWTOR and have it change your settings? Haven't quite figured out whats going on, but I've tried using the default profile for SWTOR that pops up, launcher.exe, and SWTOR.exe with no luck.

Any ideas?

Not sure - you mean lettng TOR have access to the AlienFX?

Don't think there's even compatibility or an option for that.

umm what do you mean? like itunes plugin? where the music and light flashes? you cant do that with SWTOR, its only for itunes and wmp

SWTOR would have needed to be written with this option in mind. It was not. there are many game that do control your AlienFX as an option but alas, this is not one.

City of Heroes has options, but thats the only one I personally have played tht does, and it is pretty cool. No luck yet for SWTOR, but it was a late addition to CoH so we still have hope for the future

The only way for a game to take control of the AlienFX is if the game is coded to do so. As of right now there is no option within TOR to allow AlienFX to work with the game.

League of Legends added AlienFX awhile back to their in game options.

I see what you're trying to do there, really the only way to do that is manually you will have to go and change the theme and then start SWTOR.

I was looking for an answer to that. This sucks, i wanted my laptop to glow blue when I play SWTOR. AlienAdrenaline works only until the game launches. Once I close the launcher everything sets back to normal.

League of Legends syncs to alienFX too. Normal is green, when you take damage it flashes red, when people ping at you it flashes blue. When you are dead is ghostly white and etc.

it worked for a mate of mine who used to play (i rmb going over to trial it).

Rigth click on the alien FX icon in your tray and make sure that 3rd party in checked otherwise your FX game themes will not work unless that is on. Hope that helps.
