Just curious...I live in the equator and to me the Canadians and the Americans have the same accent...or is it?

Hi Addice! I'm a true blood as you are...I know what you mean...it sounds thick and strong...but I don't have to worry about that as I live with in the border.

Aye, ah can understand tha'. Me mam used tae hae a wee bit o' a Scottish accent as weel... It's very interestin' watchin' auld video clips of her an' me da' in the early 80's, haha!

There was a time when I tried to talk in nothing but Scottish brogue (or "leid", as many Scots prefer it to be called)... can't write it very well but I think I've got the accent down nicely!

British accent by a country miles... Just sounds so...unique :P

And it seems that vast majority of people here preferred British accent as well, I guess I'm not the only one who thinks this way :D

We should require people to be specific with what kind of British accent. Keep in mind that Britian is England+Scotland+Wales+Northern Ireland....

I don't know the specificity of it, or which particular region I'd like, but I'd like to have a British Accent :P

i'm fine with sounding like a Canadian even though i'm american XD

American accents vary on where you are in the country, the south is very different from the North in accent and culture but there is an American standard accent which is only spoken in movies.

I wouldn't want to be stuck with a particular accent, but British accents are nice. Would be even cooler if I can change to any accent by will!
