I know a lot of people have gotten keys. even people that dont play pc games have gotten them. if there is anyone out there that has a key and doesnt plan on playing cs go i would happily take it off your hands

If you haven't yet, they have this survey on steam which one guy was talking about in this section of the forums, Just fill in the survey & hope for a key i guess. But if not, you can wait for someone to give you a key i guess.

yeah. i tried it and no luck. in fact i made a couple of accounts with no games and re-took the survey hoping to get a key but no luck. oh well ill just wait for it to hit the stores. kinda sucks for a guy that has played cevo-p and other top leagues since 2003 has to wait for the game to go on sale.

Unlucky man! =( but same here tried getting a key through the servey but still haven't got a key for that too, i'm not much of the FPS player so i don't really mind about the keys. Looks like i'm going to have to wait for it to come out on sale around here.

Yea, I tried too, didn't get it. Figures, there's tons of people taking the survey and they only give out a small amount.

Yea and there are people selling these beta keys for money or trading them for hames like mw3 so its hard to get the key with so many people abusing the system

yeah i figured there would some kind of illegal key selling, behind the scenes stuff. oh well we will all be able to play soon enough!

Three current ways to get beta keys.

-Attend a huge LAN Event
-Be one of the top 10,000 in hours played globally (1.6 and Source combined)
-Survey

I have been begging for one since the first 10K were passed out. Kind of surprised I wasn't on the list but I guess not playing for the past 5 months kind of does that.

Damn, I want a key too!

Alot of people have not got the keys yet, but they do get them at random times,

Some of my friends have took the survey once they could and NOW they have just got the beta and a extra key,

sometimes it takes a while, You just have to wait, or hope someone will give you a key, then you might end up having 2 extra keys, which you can give to people that want them too.

I got mine about a week after tho, and gave away my key to someone, then they got 2 extra keys cuz of the survey, it just takes a while.

One day when we all have a key it will be in open beta.

I have done the survey, but no invite yet.

My cousin got gifted a key from his friend, luckily I was able to play the game on my cousin's account at times. It's pretty nice, but needs some serious improvement and fixes which is why it's good that they take in feed back and actually run a long beta which is why they delayed the release to summer. Any old 1.6 players will realize how broken this game is compared to it, just hope they fix it up by the release date.

I use to play CS alot, from 1.6 to source, and CSGO I did notice a few of random stuff,

but since I am just a reguler person that likes to play games, I dont really notice anything out of place,

I mean when I played the beta, people were talking about how the movement sucks, and all that and how the recoil should be tighter,

first movement was fine for me, and I dont know how they could tell the difference between the recoil,

I do know however is that when you shoot, most of the time your bullet will go way over the cross air, but no one complained about that yet, so idk.
