Just wondering how many of you read novels just for fun

I'm starting now the Dark Tower series by Stephen King (I like a lot his books), its awesome

- share some nice books for reading

I'm going to recommend 100 years of solitude by Gabriel García Marquez (Colombian) nice book. Really got me into the style (maybe because I'm from México, but still)

My sister loves reading maybe you can visit her website...see link below.

Click on "The Literature Advocate" tab for her recommendations.

She loves reading...and still find time despite of her very challenging work as a financial analyst in JP Morgan Bank, and working on her Masters degree in Business.

I am yet to read my first book...she bought me the set of the Hunger Games series...and I haven't read it yet and the first installment of the movie is showing on Friday! I'm just damn lazy on reading.

Mike was here...got to leave for work...be back sooon.

I love reading, haha! Currently I'm reading Until We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis, and I've started Inheritance by Christopher Paolini, but I haven't had the time to finish it...

Dark Tower series is BOMB, wish they would make it into a mini-series. I recently finished The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes and Crimes of Humanity by Lynn Fausett. I can't wait for the new George R.R. Martins The Winds of Winter, due out in 2-3 years....

Never. I hate reading so much that I actually bought an [expensive] book that I had meant to read for a while... and it's just collecting dust in a drawer. I just don't get the attraction to staring at pages of text, but then I lack imagination.

losing activity as I'm moving away from gaming.

I've stopped reading for a while. My only memorable reading experiences has been from the classical novels required from school.

Just checking the website. Lot of nice book recommendations, thanks ;)
I haven't read the hunger games, but it's on my to-read list.

I guess I'm just used to reading since in medicine we have to read a lot, and I mean A LOT.

nice to hear that, I've finished book 1 just have to find book 2 on the local library (my university just have 1, 4 and 5 dark tower books, weird) or buy it though amazon.com :P

I want to read Sherlock Holmes, was about to grab it from my university library and then realized they had the dark tower I. Sorry Sherlock but you'll have to wait some months.
Didn't know the Song of fire series and Ice wasn't finished, I have some friends who love the books and the tv series :P

I don't read that often anymore aside from the require textbooks for classes which don't have anything to do with a story haha. I think the books I've enjoyed the most probably come down to 1984 and Catcher in the Rye. I think I'll start reading the hunger games during my spring break though.
