Just wondering, I know it's unlikely, but I have BF3 on both PC and PS3. I'm not willing to buy dlc for both platforms, so if that "Free dlc after the new dlc hits" sounds like its too good to be true. And if they don't which platform should I purchase dlc? Thanks.

Yeah I was thinking that. Sadly I only got B2K for PS3.. I was thinking even maybe close quarters for ps3 and armored kill for pc but idk yet..

And yeah, I don't have too many friends with gaming pcs, but I could always squeeze myself in a squad with the pc crowd.

The close quarters map pack is featuring more destruction then before. i would say that the extra frames per second you get with the pc would make it more worth getting it on pc.

The whole PC/Console row has been going on for a long time, I have a gaming PC and a PS3 as well, much the same as you, but I would never by a FPS for the PS3 because you simple don't get the same value out of the game on a console as you do with a PC.

PC FPS's also have a load more power, the servers are bigger, as are the environs and the gfx are better; it just makes more sense to play get DLC on the PC.

With regards to friends, you can just search around for platoons on Battlelog and join up with any open ones; or search around online/facebook as i am sure there are many non-clan restricted platoons you can join. I am a member of one myself, we don't play competitively, but we just join up on-line for a game a few times a week for a laugh. Best way to be:)
