I found it rather tedious about having to open the thread first in order to see the latest post. Now I'm just thinking, how much better would it be if we have some sort of shortcut button of which if we click it, we'll open the last page...

In many other forums, you can see the number of pages of a thread before you open it, since it's displayed bellow the thread on the sub forum page... Better yet, you can jump directly to the last page

Yeah, I always wanted this type of feature. Very helpful. That implies you already read the thread though. It would be useless if a person who never read the thread uses it.

true but not every post needs to be read through some are just based on a poll and it's easy to just reply too.

I think there is already a shortcut to the last page. =S It's the ">>" bit at the end of the Page numbers at the top. But I think that's only applicable when the thread has exceeded more than 5 pages of responses. =S
