I'm looking to get an alienware. I have about 1200-1400 to drop on a gaming laptop.

I'm looking to play skyrim on high or ultra settings.

I was told that MSI G Series GT683-841US Notebook

or TOSHIBA Qosmio X775-Q7384 Notebook

are a good bang for my buck. But, I want to know if an alienware around my price range can play skyrim and others on high settings. Thanks.

You could probably get a really basic M11x but they seem to be unavailable on Dell.com and Alienware.com

asus or msi. toshiba im not so sure but from my experience are not the absolute best. alien are very good quality but are NOT worth the pricetag. go asus

There is always ebay, but that is risky.

I would second the suggestion of an Asus laptop. My friend has one, and is quite happy with it.

Save some more and get a pretty sick one, you wont regret it... in the meantime try to upgrade your desktop if have one...

After getting my Alienware laptop yesterday, this is a better suggestion!

True but on the other end some people like to game at work :). But then again I have the m18xr1 and this thing weighs about as much as my last desktop and I tell ya what its no walk in the park taking this thing from one place to another.
