I would love to see this program been playing the game sense last year here and there and still just don't get most of it.
Sometimes the best way to master something is to teach it.
If you think you know the game.... sure why not?
the coaching systemis out there also in TF2 but never got involved in the role.

I would, tho only if I manage to get time, but I would surely like to teach someone.

I think that there will have to be a reward for mentoring, just hope it doesn't end up like the USA public education program; then it just might end up with a lot of bad teachers.
And Wiki is correct, that is where some people excel the most.
Uh, maybe once then never again. unless it's rewarding as some of you have already suggested lol. But TF2 never had a reward for mentoring a newb so we'll never know.
I already know that you can be commended for teaching someone something. In doing so you get bonuses if you get commended. I will help newbs out. Hopefully they can pass it on to other people and make a better community.
