Alienware should make something like a gun for fps. I posted a topic about using the ps3 move + a ps3 gun controller + ps3 move camera. But, it'll run you quite a lot and then you have to have bluetooth and go through 3rd party programs, so on and so forth. Dell/Alienware/Alienware Arean, should team up and make a PC controller for the fans! Its not fair that some games are ONLY getting released on ps3 and xbox and not for the PC! PS3 and Wii AND Xbox all have gun controllers and PC users still only have mice! We need to change that!

Here's a small to-do list I created:
-The gun and different sensors and buttons. (For example, one sensor will be in the stock of the gun. When you move your head and lean on it to look through the iron-sight or scope and it presses the equivalent of the right-click on a mouse!)

-Great millisecond tracking response time! (Very important for FPS!)

-Disable hand and gun model in fps games to make it more realistic. And just keep a corsair so you can see where you are aiming.

-A way to move around easily, maybe a floor mat or some other ideas.

-Cheap way to mass-produce these (Obviously made in china parts)

Open to any suggestions. :)

Oh yeah, this can also be a beta-test for level 7-ers that didn't take part in the Gunar one :D

What if I create a 3D model and send it over to Dell? Maybe they will approve? I mean, is it really that hard to make one of these? They created mice! Its time Dell goes further into gaming!

I dont think you are allowed to own one of those or even make one xD You'd need a gun license and a ammeter/ham radio license, sorry xD

The topic about the PS3 gun for BF3 on pc is not a bad idea, I'd design something like a foot pedal to control movement and some side buttons on the gun for misc stuff.
