The new 47mb patch added support for AlienFX! The game looks and feels better than ever :D

Edit: Some people turns out to despise the AlienFX effect on Battlefield 3, so for those who seek to disable it, here's how:

I need that information as well - I wasn't sure what the crap was going on at first.....

I'd love to know exactly how it utilizes AlienFX. If anyone can give a breakdown or post a video of it in game, it would be greatly appreciated.

So far, what I know,

When you're dead and you're yet to spawn, it'll glow blue-orange-blue

When you're spawned, and you have 100% health, it'll glow white

If you get hit, it'll glow light red, and if your health is low, it'll glow dark red

If your health is critical, it'll flicker red-black-red

I don't know if there's anything else, correct me if I'm wrong though

I have no idea why alien fx isn't working?

Although I have everything up to date.

It used to work with supreme commander 2, but for some reason it stopped.

and now with the new battlefield 3 update which allows alien fx also nothing happens!

any ideas? any help?

Oh thank god!!! I thought my computer was going crazy! It is good to know that other people also have their keyboards changing colours in game :). I hope there is a way to disable it! If you guys have BF3, yous should add me! My in game name is Xingua and I have MAG tags on.

How can you change it? like different colors or turning it off or on? I can't find anything about AlienFX options...

some more information would be helpful.
How do I enable?

I think it's a good idea if you could set it so it would flash when you lock on with a stinger etc but personally i'd like to get back to the old days and just have my normal solid blue while playing!
