DOTA 2
Best way to get an invite?
What is the best way to get an invite to play DOTA2? I have an m17xR3 mostly maxxed out options when purchased and answered the survey.
I mean do they want updated systems to play or older systems?
I used to play Dota on the WCIII platform a lot. But it's been a few years since I done that so I didn't remember detailed info like the average kills, deaths, etc. per game. But I always liked -AR and -AREM so I did play every character there were. The funnest champs for me was Axe and the witch doctor. hahahhaa
For the past 2 years I've been playing LoL and a few of my friends play Dota2. I would really like to play with them so my DOTA skills should still be there since I'm coaching them without even seeing their game. They ask me questions about which items are good for which heroes and which skills to max out first and what not. I miss that game.
So anyone know how to maximize my chances of getting an invite to play?

Playing other games on Steam often seems to help
Also your system should more than exceed minimum requirements

I wouldn't guarantee that's how it works, but in my experience, it did happen that way. I got into the Dota 2 beta (which I did the survey for) after two very active weeks of playing Skyrim on Steam. I wasn't an active Steam user prior to that. It could just be coincidence, but it would make sense that they're more likely to invite active players.
Having a good rig that exceeds requirements also helps out.
guess i need to play some more CS:S lol my rig def. exceeds minimum requirements
I did not use steam for 3 weeks same thing and was suddenly active and recieve an invite to DOTA and CS:GO. Also Recieved 2 Dota 2 gifts 2 weeks later.
sign up for the beta steam gave me 2 passes patience is key
currently the choice depends on the resources that you PC
if you cant get it from steam, try outr dota forums and steam gruop, they are willing to give it out.
system requirements. make sure you do the survey for it. sign on at playdota forums as well. otehrwise, hope a friend gets some. I recently got about 7 keys to give out to friends (all out sorry). just wait i guess
Till now I never get that beta key...
