I was wondering if Alienware had any plans to implement touch screens into their laptops because of windows eight's heavy reliance on them?

Nothing announced as of yet, i believe some of the models have 3d screens so it would make sense for a possible touch option to be released for Windows 8 as and when it is released.

I would hope for a very good quality LED screen with capacitive touch capabilities, and a nice price tag :p

well the issue wiht touch screen is it's not that cheap to put into a laptop. And windows 8 won't be out for a while still. Besides touch screen is only fun on big screens.

touch screen is just luxury not at all required once you have a keyboard and mouse (we ain't living in a cyber punk/mass effect universe yet)
