Since we're entering the month of May and many people will participate in avatar of the month thing I would like ask what is your favorite mythical creature and which myths do you like the most?
I was always in love with dragons, they are just so beautiful to watch. But I probably like Greek mythology the most.

I don't have any favorite mythical creatures. I think they're all really cool. Also, I think Greek mythology is wonderful.
I've always loved mythical creatures of all types from the early egyption times all the way to greek times and many more.
My favorite mythical creature has got to be the Roc. When I was a kid my friends and I used to pretend one was chasing us and we would have to find places to hide. As for my favorite myths thats almost impossible to pick I love Greek mythology even though everyone even the hero's are kinda evil and Egyptian mythology.
My favorite is also Greek mythology. I would have to say my favorite is pegasus..The mythical winged horse of the Greeks. I have always been fascinated in story of pegasus. Such a magical creature!
I've always loved Lycans(Were-Wolves) which has a history from all ages from greek, irish, norse and all over.
Seems like greek mythology is the most popular, and I like it the most as well.

I like mostly Greek and Norse mythology. Sadly I don't know much about others. I would like to learn more about Sumerian mythology as well as Aztec and Mayan stories. Maybe I will check them out while looking for more avatars.
I've also been very intrigued by Greek and Roman Mythology
I like Yetis a lot, Yetisports for the win. I also like vampires, but not sissy vampires like the whole Twilight series, it's the vampires such as Dracula and Nosferatu that have a lasting impact. I also like Zombies, Gnomes and Ghosts, but sadly neither of the last three are scary or funny.
My avatar is Raijin and Fujin. Raijin is the God of Storms and Fujin is the God of Wind (Japanese mythology).
I don't have a particular favorite mythological creature, but I guess I'm pretty fascinated with dragons.

I'd say Greek mythology is my favorite. I used to read quiet a lot of books about that when i was younger. Sadly, i don't have much time for that now:(
