Question about GPU?
okay so if a gpu has two models exactly identical except one has more memory for example the GT650 1GB vs GT650 2GB.
Will the one with more memory take up more voltage or the same?
thanks.

they are the same, 2GB version will perform just as the 1GB.
Once again Krishnooof to the rescue.

Oh and one more question. WHY THE HECK WOULD THEY HAVE THAT AS AN OPTION THEN!

It's a marketing stunt, primarily; DELL likes to get it into peoples' heads that "more is better". And sometimes it is! But just not in this case, haha!

Because it's business :))

Yes. Thing is, gt650m is not fast enough to play games on higher resolution in high details and aa. Plus it uses ddr5. My gt555m with ddr3 never uses more than 1gb. More vram is usefull when playing on high resolution or multiple monitors. Gt650m is not fast enough to handle that, therefore 2gb is simply useless. Better use the money on ssd from newegg
