EA wants some opinions on Origin

Fowlski77 said: I don't like Steam one bit. I signed up with them a few months back, and downloaded TF2 (all 10GB of it). I was trying to get in contact with some people who I knew played TF2, but alas, I was not able to add friends, or even SEND MESSAGES!
I tried and tried to get Steam to change my account's available options, but since I hadn't actually "purchased" anything off of Steam for money, I was limited to an account with barely any functionality. According to Steam, it's their way of "preventing spammers" and whatnot.
This pissed me off to no end, and now they'll never get a cent from me. Ever.
Would it have been so hard to, like, buy a $1.00 hat from the Mann Co. store in TF2?? Another method, though, is this old promotional for AMD or Nvidia cards that would put Portal: First Slice and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast into your library, which would activate the messaging and friending features. That's how I enabled those features before buying a game; in fact, I only very recently actually started buying games from Steam! Before last October, I didn't actually own a thing through Steam besides free-bies! Google it, there are bypasses to that issue.

I play battlefield 3 mainly and the battlelog makes Origin unnecessary besides the cloud storage and driver updates (which you can't see the specs on). They should integrate them or go with one (the battlelog because its much better) over the other. There really is no point in having a friend on Origin if you are playing battlefield 3. I play Syndicate as well and I still don't see the intention. I could be missing something here, let me know if I am. There needs to be a different interface for origin though to make it more useful to gamers.
Find me on steam: joseph_tritico, origin: CarpeDiem3, and Xbox: ineffable3.

well compared to Steam, Origin is just "meh"
Origin just released last year and just for EA games so comparison is actually meaningless
