Here is what could be an interesting poll. What social sites, if any, do you use?
With all the controversy surrounding 'certain' sites, such as Facebook privacy issues, some folks have no problem letting it all hang out, while others are so discreet they could be secret service agents...lol
Give a reason for your answer! For example, do you use your real name? Maybe a first name and an initial? Perhaps just your username.

Personally, I do not belong to any social sites except for Steam and Origin, and those just for gaming. I never use my real name and to be honest, my name is not even google-able. How's that for under-the-wire? hehe.
I used to be with Facebook, but with all the things I have heard about them, I closed the account awhile ago. I still have one on there SkiRascal, but I forgot the password and it is impossible for me to retrieve it as I do not even remember the email I used to set it up. *shrugs*
My pic I have no problem sharing, but I am leary of any personal info hanging out there for just anyone to see.

I dont use Social Networks....i just go into forums of gamers and thats all.

I prefer email/txt/forums over ether.

I use Facebook and I like it. I'm not concerned about privacy issues. I trust Facebook to take good care of it. It helps me in communicating with friends that I can no longer meet in real life. Also, it allows me to catch up with friends from the past. It is very convenient. In terms of strangers seeing the info, I am very picky with privacy settings so strangers don't fully get to see anything.

Not sure why you put MySpace. That is just too old.

I used Twitter only for my class. I don't find it any more valuable than Facebook. YouTube is great but only for videos. I don't find it a very valuable social site. I don't comment on anything or have friends there. LinkedIn is only for job stuff and I guess talking to coworkers and employers. Professional but the real purpose is simply to find a job. I don't use Origin. Steam is okay. Its community feature still needs to be more advanced. Right now, I do like it since it caters specifically to gamers.

I use facebook. I have a myspace account but I haven't used it in so long I don't remember my log in info. I have a twitter account but don't use it very often. I have a youtube account but I don't post any videos, just watch from time to time. I have steam.

I just use facebook and twitter. I use my real name because i'm not to concerned with somebody knowing my name. I just don't have my phone number or email on any of it.

I don't use either. I just contribute to the AWA forums, and use Steam.

I use Facebook but i don't really use it often, post some things from time to time and so and read about other people's life and that's about it. I did have a myspace but it got pretty boring.

Myspace is a pretty dead community.

I use Facebook and Twitter, but I only use Twitter to follow people, I don't really Tweet. Actually come to think of it, I pretty much use Facebook for the same reason, lol. I don't post status updates as much as I share updates. :P

Facebook to keep up with fam and freinds

I use Google+ more than anything, I have a Facebook which I check regularly, but post very rarely on. Facebook is just getting way too personal and I don't feel comfortable with giving away anything more.
