Since I suck at math, my SLi 560 Ti's usually idle @ 40c and end up at around 70-80c full load. They can go up to 99c without any permanent damage.

On my laptop, i'm sure my crossfire 6990's get up to about 80c on full load while playing BF3.

That's pretty hot.

I would never want my comp to reach such a high temperature.

I never measure it but I do know it gets hot enough that it slightly burns my fingers.

That is really too hot for an Aurora, Red. The pump and fans should keep it pretty well below that. I have the same box as you but at the highest temp, even with a couple hours of gaming I might hit 45c (113f).
Check your thermal control panel and make sure it shows the CPU pump running. Maybe I am hitting the low-end of the temp scale, but that just seems way too hot.

I actually do have a real life, I just don't remember what the password to it is...

Wow...that's hot. I don't know how hot mine WOULD get. But between the thermal controls in the command center and MSI afterburner my video card never really reaches over 80-85 Fahrenheit.

On my old Asus G73JH, the HD5870m reaches 110c when playing Skyrim, Battlefield 3, etc before it automatically shuts down >.> which was exactly why I sold it and bought myself an M17x

When the gaming gets rougher...

When the gaming gets very intense, I couldn't take a screenshot of the temps, because the laptop automatically shuts down.... lol the stupidest laptop I've ever had *facepalm*

edit: The fans was revving on 100%
