In eu he was released without down time :O Just message appeared "Varus is in shop now. Relog to buy." or something like that :P Anyways, seen some in ranked aswell already. Some sucked and some didnt. He is bit stronger than it seems at first look.

Gah, just played one match with him, and he Q hits quite hard with armour penetration.. :D & the ultimate is actually quite hard to hit all 5 people if they're constantly moving around which is a bit annoying, but yeah, a decent / strong character.

I have played him twice and I really like his range.

Agreed Chunaki, his ult is hard to use.

In my games all seem like everyone knows how to play Varus.

I'll be picking him up tonight I think.

I have yet to see anyone use him and not feed like crazy though.

Its pretty much playing like an AD carry really. =/ Most of your damage comes from your basic attacks anyways.

A few things i noticed that make him great: Hybrid tiems work wel on him, though if you saturate him he end up alot like MF. I personally just get rage blade and go happy since his www dmg is almost 1, and his Hp percen dmg is 10 percent. So baron plus full rage blade gives you a riducousle amount of hp dmg per stack, which make shim vayne on roids

Second: YOu might want to invest in some mana regen,becuase when you start tossing out harasses, he eats his mana quick. Oddly enough, I used Tiamat, and the mana regen, plus hp regen, plsu dmg and the assive give him decent dmg,and some better stability.

My persoanl build: Open boots pots
go back to pick up berserks and pick axe---> rage blade or tiamte
You "best friend" item start next
Pick up second pickaxe item
Counter team comp from this point
