Alienware Promo Giftcard issues.

Anyone else having giftcard redemption issues?
I'm trying to Pre-purchase Diablo3, and the webpage where you check out, via Dell's purchase system, asks for an Expiration Date. my card doesn't have this.
Now what?
So I called the 800 number on the back of the card to retrieve this info, and the system said that it didn't have any info. on this card... WTF?
So I started a chat session with a Dell person, then IE did something awesome, it crashed, taking along my chat session.

So here I am looking for other/alternate means... if there are any.

Has anyone else had this issue? Or is this something new-ish?
What was your solution/work around?
thanks!

A question comes to mind as I am a QA person. Why does Alienware/Dell use such a fail system? Why have multiple types of cards, but only ONE variation input page functionality? This = Fail.

I've planned on doing the Chat thing with the Dell reps again tomorrow, hopefully that'll go much more smoothly in a Chrome window.

Guessing your card isn't a credit card / charge card. If it were you'd have a Mastercard or Visa logo on it. ATM only card? There's bound to be differences between countries here though

No, you are entering into the wrong box! Thats for credit cards! When its in your cart, you must go to the box that says, redeem code. Type in the code and press the button above it or whatever. That should work.

Do what dantheman suggested. Gift cards usually don't work like credit cards. To use them, you usually just type the numbers in the Redeem Code or Promotional Code box.
