Is this great news or what? Glad they stopped fighting over legal stuff and did what's best for gamers.

I saw this earlier today. I'm glad they worked it out. It seemed like such a silly dispute.
I saw this today on steam too and i am happy about it :D
that's good news. On with the game!
Woah i dont understand why...
It's not that silly, honestly if they hadn't worked this out Valve could've easily sued/c&d Blizzard no doubt about it thus making Blizzard to go bankrupt. Since Blizzard's game SC2, will contain custom maps with DOTA in the name most likely, will give Valve the chance to make them change the name or C&D. Blizzard just feared Valve stopping them from using the name for custom maps either way, Blizzard DOTA was changed to Blizzard Allstars so that shouldn't really even matter anymore.

I doubt they would have went bankrupt, not even close to it. The company as a whole made 966m this year and over 1b last year, no judgment will be made for a few billion just over franchise naming. I do believe that it was a useless suit because Blizzard would have eventually lost and retainer fees for corporate lawyers are rather expensive.
I am glad to see Valve got to keep the name, it was a rather pointless suit by Blizzard.
about time there little feud was getting annoying.
Good to hear, now back to making great games!
Glad to hear, didn't the original DOTA creator join valve in making this game?
If so... Then that makes things even better :>
