go to the graphics card settings by right clicking the desktop and choose your 7970m to be used every time or when you play games.
i can only chose high for one program at time, how can i make it use my card all the time?
Anders sounds norwegian?

Norsk ja! :D

yep stil need help, we cant set it to run as the 7970, we cant find any other solution than changing each program to even high or low setting, pleas help.
Sry about that :)
well havent found an answer to the problem yet so feel free.. it seems that the Intel HD 4000 graphic card is the "Master" card if i cant put it that way.. and the HD7970M run as a slave card only when u ask it to.. i want to run the 7970M fulltime. right click on desktop dosent give me the option to do so.

There should be an option in the BIOS to disable the HD 4000, unless Dell alienware did not make that an option.
No option in the bios as far as i can see.. no edit options on that page besides date etc..
No, there is no option to completely disable intel 4000. Try pressing Fn+F7 or another function button to switch between graphic cards. Thats basically all you need to do. Make sure it is in high performance graphic mode.
For that to work you must be plugged in, gaming on battery power is not an option.
