Alienware m14x alienfx and dxdiag problem? :(
Hi,
I've had my Alienware M14x for almost a year now. I've re-pasted in the past and I never had any problems after re-pasting. But after my last re-paste (yesterday), I checked my dxdiag, and this came up

and every time I would boot up, I would get this.
Could any one help me with this?
I've never had this problem before.
Thanks in advance!
NOTE: Processor is detected by CPU-Z

This is a 'guess' only, just something that tickled my spidey-sense...
Perhaps you pasted too much and it is interfering? Maybe remove some of what was put on~
I would wait for those more informed to answer this, though.

I actually do have a real life, I just don't remember what the password to it is...

absolutely no info about computer? that is very weird... Your alien fx problems could be caused by some cables not being connected properly...
Looks like something is wrong with your BIOS. check and re-check your board for any damage, run-a-way past or unconnected wires. Check you BIOS to see if it picks up your Hardware. If not, Check your hardware connections.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I actually thought that was the problem at first. I immediately tried to clean up some of the paste. After that, same shit still happened.

Yup, absolutely nothing on dxdiag. But everything's alright on CPU-Z. It's really weird. I'll have a check on all wires ASAP.
Thanks for the reply!
Check all your cabling and make sure everything is in the right place and connected firmly.

Hi,
I did a check on the BIOS. Everything seemed fine from there. I'll check the MOBO for any damages ASAP. I just have 1 quick question, I ordered my laptop without Bluetooth, but it still came with the wire for bluetooth, would it be a problem if I don't connect my bluetooth wire?
Thanks for the reply! :)

Hopefully, there's nothing wrong with my MOBO. I bought my Alienware in the USA about a year ago, but I moved back here in the Philippines to finish school and I no idea how I'm gonna get my laptop serviced from here. Hopefully, everything is fine.

Take a photo of the Wire and its set up if you can. reconnecting could not hurt. I have seen computers do funny things for things just like that. Go ahead and reconnect it and try it.
