hey guys hope I can be educated a bit here..

Just got my m17x R4 and BF3 is the first game i have installed,

my specs are:

3rd gen i7 3610QM @ 2.3GHz
Geforce GTX 660m
16GB DDR3 1600MHz Ram
750GB HDD

now on low settings and 1080p res im getting around 20 FPS on a fullish server.

is this what it should be or is it unusually low?, i'm getting the same kind of FPS on my desktop which is far more inferior...

what things can affect FPS in game? like programs running in background etc..

any help much appreciated!

on low you should get 70+fps.
1. install latest drivers for you grafics card
2. go in nvidia control panel (physx-panel) and set the 660m as default card.(should have 60+fps)
3. have fun and kick ass;p

Yeah it sounds to me like you are running on the integrated graphics. You should easily get 60+ on medium even at 1920x1080.

my fps is 120 always..

My FPS is 55-~65

my FPS is 50-25 ultra no AA. running it on I7-2630qm gtx 560m:)

My fps is around 100-170! Im going with 6970 CF i5 4,2ghz :) and 1920x1080 high/ultra settings

mine is 40 to 50 so your running on integrated

Mine is around 50-60
