Favorite Musicals
Was just watching little shop of horrors for about the 4th time and was wondering what everyone else's favorite musicals were. My absolute favorite is Avenue Q with little shop of horrors as a close second.

Neither have I.
This is mine...
Wicked. I lied, never seen it in my life or any other musical xP
Rocky Horror Picture Show, Repo: A Genetic Opera, Little Shop of Horrors, Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog.
I went to New York a number of years ago and saw both Godspell and A Chorus Line. I happen to think Andrew Lloyd Webber is da shiznit. Jesus Christ - Superstar, sticks out for it's bitchin' 70's mod-musical style..lol.
There is also Fiddler On The Roof, Hairspray, Rent, West Side Story, Grease, The Book Of Mormon (from the guys who created Southpark), The Phantom of the Opera, Annie, Tommy (musical from The Who, based on Pinball Wizard), many more that are really great...
If you have not seen any of these, your missing out on a great cultural experience that is as great and influentual to many of our favorite bands as Elvis, The Beatles and Chuck Berry was to our rock and roll.
Do yourself a favor, check a few out:)

I actually do have a real life, I just don't remember what the password to it is...

Les Miserables for me (for the story and music).
Phantom of the Opera (for the stage design and music).
The Lion King (the costumes and music).

I, like others here, really like the musical Les Miserables. I also like the Phantom of the Opera, Fiddler on the Roof, and Into the Woods (just because it's so ridiculous).

If your one of those guys who thinks musicals are only for women you should really check out Avenue Q if you get the chance it's a guys musical for sure.

It's a good book. Gregory McGuire writes some really good twists on old stories.
I actually want to see Book of Mormon.
The only musical I saw in NYC was Miss Saigon with Lea Solonga.
