I would like to know how many of you here use Adobe Photoshop to edit your images and of course I would like to know what effect do you add to your images to brighten it up or make it look outstanding.
I use it but im still a noob. Or i should say ima noob at it again. I took 2 years of a class on how to use it. And i got the newer version of what we practiced and i forgot everything Xd

I only use Photoshop at school as I cannot afford it.

Photoshop it's just a 40% of your image result, 60% or more is about your camera, lenses, and lights you used...
for most people applying just the autobalance, and autocolor is fine.. i rather use gamma correction and RGB balance.

I kinda have to agree with that. If the image taken is really blur, nothing much can be done about it

Nice concept :D
I have CS4 on my laptop and CS5 on my desktop that I use for class/work, but I've been messing around with photoshop for around 8 or so years. It really depends on what you're working on, but remember that the coolest effects in the world can only add so much to a dull image.
I think classes for learning photoshop are kind of lame >_> you can learn pretty much everything on your own just fine (and you'll never forget it that way either) start out just by running through a bunch of free tutorials for effects that you think look cool and you'll get to learn everything pretty fast.

I've also learned it by my own actually, I prefer adding lomography to most images as it usually makes it stands out.
How about you?
Aye i learned most of the stuff on my own. Just its been like 3-4 years. Gotta pick it all up again.

I like to mess around in Photoshop every once and a while.
I think messing around all by yourself is so much better since u will really get to learn lots of stuff for FREE!!!
I use photoshop, but my lighting/shading really varies per picture.
Anything worth having is worth working hard for.

This is my wife's father when he was a 9. He passed away about ten years ago and this was one of two childhood photos the family had of him. I used paint and paint.net to attempt to repair it and try to add some color.
