Yeah, I think it is! I wish Alienware hosted more tournaments in BC, Canada or online!

Last sizeable "Community Lan" was Nvidia NVISION 2008. Was a great event with great turnout.

"Is Team Fortress 2 ready," is a complete understatement.

Alienware is on to something :D

North American TF2 hasn't had a big LAN in ages. It definitely is ready for another one.

Finally a chance at a real LAN. Preferably in Toronto or NY, but it doesn't matter to me.

Yes!  Northeast would be nice but I'm sure people would go just about anywhere for a good TF2 lan.

I'm pretty sure if its a decent lan you will see several teams come in.  Dallas or Chicago would be two decent locations

Location is always a challenge. Naturally, everyone would like it to be near them, but to be successful everyone needs to be willing to travel to wherever it ends up being.

I'm inspired by how the Day of Defeat community brought out 12 teams to San Diego for a community LAN this summer. Consider that they have about 60-80 active teams online. That's true dedication.

The Call of Duty 4 summer community LANs in Pennysylvania have had 32 teams, paying $85/player for buy-in.

It's doable and it can be great, but it requires a big commitment from the community.

TF2 Lan would be great I think alot of people would attend and give a go, this is what the community has long been waiting for!

yeah I don't think location is that big of a factor.  I'm sure most people just want to go to a tf2 lan- I was just saying dallas or chicago because those locations for the most part are close to everyone

We definently need this LAN to get the game jump-started again. I see tons of people joining the competetive community lately. This is a great game with a great competetive community willing to put in the money and the effort to make this game big. Please give us a LAN is Dallas or Chicago.

absolutely.

the tf2 community is much more then ready for a big community LAN, i can put money on the fact that so many teams want this and would love to attend too, would really benefit the community right now! i would also say hold it somewhere NorthEast, Toronto, Chicago or NYC
