HoN already has about 100,000 matches played, is free,always has 20-25 games up it's only the closed beta phase. It plays smooth and is supported by the competitive DotA community.

LoL on the other hand, causes a headache halfway through the game, has a huge list of complaints, will probably be pay-to-play or some kind of fee, and feels more like WoW than DotA.


I'm sticking with DotA and HoN for at least the next few years.

Heroes of Newerth is amazing. I think it will be a big hit.

HoN.. Sure I like the graphics and such, but DotA is more oldstyle, so staying online on both I guess.

Hey, as far as I can tell from various forums and youtube-clips HoN seems to have really good grafics, but ive havent got the chance to test for myself how the actual gameplay is. Is it really better than DotA or is it just "cooler"?

I personally play LOL now played dota for a long time. It is free only have to pay for hero skins if you want them. I thought that HoN cost money does it not?

DOTA 2 is on it's way, I'll wait for that, because it's made by Icefrog himself
