Chemistry - which do u find easier ?

Ok so likein science yesterday we were going over the other naming method for chemicals like hexaoxide or w,e ...but i however found this harder than going sulphate or sulphite .... which one do u perfer ... using the prefixes or the suffixes ?

Imo suffixes are easier to understand... just take a look at languages. There are whole languages which exploit the use of suffixes and make it an efficient way for everyday conversation. (Not that anyone asked :P)

IMO its both, u just need to know the number of the elements or should I say atoms. But if u still didn't memorize it. Prefix is much easier...

How about mixing chemicals? i.e,
Phosphoric Acid(used to clean rust) + Potassium Hydroxide(like liquid soap)?
