Which is better really I have a hard time deciding if I should try start playing HoN now, since so many people like it, but I started with LoL first, and dont even know if I should bother trying HoN help me out

Even though that HoN and LoL on the board sounds the same they have some pretty big diffrences.
HoN is, at least in my world, based a lot more around teamplay. I haven't played high ranked LoL so I'm not sure.
Another thing that we have a lot more stun and slow in HoN. Which often means, that if you ain't playing careful you will get @$$raped fast. Very fast.

HoN is more based on DotA so i would vote for HoN. LoL is basically another game u should try out too.

The origional creator of Dota (one of the many) is currently working for riot so my vote goes to LoL

HoN is more hardcore -as most people say- than LoL. Personally, I like HoN better than LoL since in LoL there's rarely any thought involved in buying items. In HoN you have to think ALOT in buying, and you need to be skilled in last hitting.

Hon more skill based and more opportunity to out skill your opponent with last hitting and denying your creeps. not being able to deny really bothers me in LoL :/

HoN is better people just like lol cause it is simplier and free to play...

HoN is more like dota, it needs teamplay and great apm =)
LoL is much slower, it have many interesting additions like grass, buffs, 5th skill and some more. In my opinion if u want to relax - LOL is better, if u are cybersportsman - play dota =)

but - correct me if i'm wrong - i think one of the creators of DotA did also go to S2 games ( and they made HoN as you all know )

HoN is big buy LoL but saying that LoL and HoN have two unique gameplay elements, although I have not played HoN for very long, it is very much a different experience from LoL. in LoL the punishment for screwing up is less than that from HoN yet late game it seems to be more.
