finally finished downloading HoN and keen to start playing, yes i know u need a beta key but as soon as i open the game i get the following error code:

CHost::Init() - D3D_SelectMaterial: problem with NULL shader: g_iCurrentVertexShader invalid, g_iCurrentPixelShader invalid

Personally i know very little about pc's, so any advice would be appriciated

yeah jst click yes and it should play normally. Its auto update, when u log in it says at the top update to that version, jst w8 for it to finish updating then you u can start playing, u dnt hve 2 click it or some. jst w8 for it 2 load.. ^_^... hope it works..

my system is 2.67ghz, 1 gb ram,

and ATI READON 9200 128mb

i have updated the direct x and also updated the video drivers but it didn't work... :(

hello. i think the problem here is with the video card. i installed HON on a pc with nvidia geforce 5200 video card and it works with no errors. i installed HON on another pc with NVIDIA geforce mx4000 video card, it doesnt work, it has k2 error. so i guess this HON works only with higher NVIDIA video cards geforce52xx above. time to upgrade guys :)
