Bring Console's into the Fold...

Pages: 1

Many college kids don't play on a pc. I personally play most of my games on a console, and would love to have competition between other schools with consoles.

There is a dirrerence between playin on a pc and playin on a console and would be good for the network.

I certainly hope not, this would be severe blow to the company's focus. Adding a console would only dilute the human capital invested in making Alienware/Dell work as it is.

Then you have to consider all the marketing and technology development that would be needed to even attract software developers to create for a "new" console.

This is just the tip of the iceberg... consider the "increase" in price on current systems to fund all that marketing and R&D... no thanks.

There is a reason the fence exists between the console and the PC.

Addressing your statement on "most" college students no playing on PC's I have to disagree. In my experience its much more the trend for undergrads to build their own systems, playing the cheap consoles only until they can save up for that next component for their rig.
