I think the new map would be better, as all of the leagus are using the newest map this season. 6.59d is pretty bland now, it's been out for so long. 6.61b would have to have AB on (which auto-bans TC and BR).

Thoughts?

Well, considering DotA League (the biggest international DotA... League... lol) and almost all international online/offline tournaments are using 6.61b now, it's a good idea.

CEVO is using 6.59d, but CEVO is well known for being extremely out of date (6.57b last season WTF) with map versions. (Hopefully Spit will fix that)

Both versions have their ups and downs. One has stability, one has more interesting games, so either one is fine. I'm just playing Devils Advocate here. :)

I like the gameplay of .61b better, its so much different, and it too a while getting used to it for me but I think its cool, because now I dont have to worry about what side I wanna be on... I can just pick Puck or Bloodseeker whenever! :D

6.61c and 6.61b it's the same map ... maybe bug fixes but no changes

There are no changes from 6.61b-6.61c..

And i've seen a w3patch - 1.24b beta testing(dunno why..lol)..

6.61 is very much different from 6.59 but i think 6.59 is better then 6.61 because the new heroes are not balance :D thats only my opinion and the new razor and medusa are lame i like the 6.59 version of them

6.59d had bug,,with the warcraft patch 1.20,, i think its unfair.. and 6.61b,,,

some of the heroes are not comfortable to use bcoz of their new skills.. like razor and jah'rakal,,the imba ones..they changed their 4th skill,,,that's why i want to play HoN ^^

..map 6.63b and 64 maps is much better.. also the new items, it gives more help for team plays such as the "kadgar".. a lot of support it gives.. haha lol..
