choosing laptop specs?

Here is the thing I am going to need a alienware laptop that I will be able to run pograms like 3ds max and other adobe programs and also render fairly fast... bu i would also like to game on my laptop.... what kind of specs should i look for?

my budget? i wanna say i don't want 2 spend mre then 2 grand but less is great if it will get the jobe done.... i'm more concerned about have a machine that will run 3ds max and ither adobe software well.. and i'm talking about the versions one would use for a company... professional
