It is sooo expensive now too, luckily through the university it is only 50$/semester for 4 hours a week, so its not bad at all
nope. Too expensive. I barely ever get in fights so its worthless to me

Seems like Tae-Kwon do is quite populare, I'd trained it too for 5 years untill the average age become below 10. I have no desire of being a preschool teacher and have to pay for it aswell.
Anyways, My club was in the ITF community under Master Yiee from sweden.
Is the WTF more common then the ITF ?

I've studied in a handful of martial arts and each one has it's merits. I find that the key to effectiveness is discipline, whether it's for sport or self-defense. So, if a instructor doesn't show well rounded discipline I won't train with them.

I dont want to learn to fight but i would like to have that kind of cardio.
I used to take jiu jitsu when I was younger and my parents had me in Boxing and Kickboxing. But I had to choose between martial arts and hockey and I loved playing hockey. Now I'm just an out of shape guy that plays video games
Wing Chun, Japanese Jiu Jitsu, Karate, Aikido, and Kajukenbo. I grew up on Maui and met a lot of people that were from places around the world and I got a lot of informal training in other martial arts too. The ones I listed though I have the most training in.
