ARP 2.0 Is Here.

Thanks for your patience as we continue to ramp up the ARP 2.0 program. We've launched the ARP 2.0 program in an effort to encourage constant community activity and enhance your experience here on Alienware Arena.

We understand most of you have noticed a few changes going on, such as tweaking the points accural, capping and status levels, and to help clarify a few things, here's how the ARP program will be changing:

A Monthly Reset.

Members in North America can enter their Arena Reward Points in the Monthly Reward Sweepstakes to win prizes from Alienware and our partners. The amount of ARP you can enter into the monthly sweepstakes is now equal to the ARP you’ve accrued over the past month (so points accrued in November can be used for the November sweepstakes.)

A few notes:

What you see at the top and on your profile page is Monthly (Lifetime) ARP, and only monthly ARP is usable in the sweepstakes.

- You'll see that at the start of each month, the monthly ARP is set to 0 and is displayed as 0 on your profile, as well as in the top nav - except on the Sweepstakes entry page.

- Sweepstakes are open during the first week of every month with winners being selected the following day. You can only use ARP accrued over the last month towards each monthly sweepstakes, so enter them all every month for the greatest chance to win! Each member can win a maximum of one prize.

Updated Points Value.

We've updated the point generating activities and values. You'll notice that we're now giving you points for Battlegrounds match participation (whether you win or lose.) Be sure to check the points value page for these updates.

Updated Caps.

We've increased the daily, weekly and monthly ARP caps to the following:

- Earn up to 5 ARP points on rating videos per day
- Earn up to 60 ARP total each day
- Earn up to 150 ARP total each week
- Earn up to 300 ARP each month

Exclusive Level 5 ARP prizes!

Worried that your Lifetime ARP you've accumulated is worthless? Fear not. In fact, it may be worth more now that it was before, as the ARP sweepstakes will now feature an exclusive monthly prize that only Level 5 users and above will have the ability to enter their ARP on.

DieselSS said: I have a question. As new levels are implemented, level 5 will eventually become a lower level. When we reach, let's say level 10, will the "exclusive" level prize be set to higher levels? What I mean to ask is if the Level 5 exclusive prize will change with the growing levels?

It's quite possible. It's also a possible that there would be another items available that would only be available for level 10 and up.
