Stormshade a dev from sto logged in the forums and let everyone know this is for new subs only "sorry for the confusion" The game sux the devs dont give a ^&*&& and they dont hold to thier own product give away. Glad TOR is on the horizon becuase until they fire the Jack#$%'s at cryptic it isnt worth subbing.

Well I get an error saying I can't activate because I already have one of the freebies included on my existing account. I don't really feel like starting over when my character is level 25.

"*Only valid for new Star Trek Online players." So you can't use them.

a recent edition, As it did not say it was for new players before. + the fact it was working for existing players up till cryptic decided to turn that off.

So far the event is not working since they disabled it when ppl that already had an account started to claim keys and use them on an existing account.

And no, i don't have any STO acc nor i have a key (since the giveaway its not working), thats why i'm asking him if he can share his key, or some one else that got one but can't use it couse he has an already existing account.
