Sorry about not replying to your question for a week.. Ahhh, I've done everything to my M17x. I've replaced RAM, swapped hard drives, punched the screen so hard that my hand started bleeding (I still have scars- and no damage to the screen). I've dropped it down the stairs, had it manhandled by the oafs at the airport, and even bashed a kid's head in with it. If you were wondering why its completely torn-down in my pic, I somehow knocked the side panel off of it so that it stuck out- I was taking it apart so that I could stick it back in properly. This thing is a tank, as of right now, there is no external damage and only minor scratching.
