Hey every, Ive just got back from the UK on Monday, and had a crazy few weeks, with lots of news.
I was back in England for a month, to see family and friends, and go to a wedding, and just relax after my last fight. It was good to see my Girlfriend for the first time in months, and to see my brother as well.
During my stay in England, we had the UFC expo and UFC 120 in London. I had a great weekend, and got to meet many fans, and they made me feel amazing with the amount of photos and autographs people asked me for. It's always a pleasure to meet fans and have a chat with them.
About 2 weeks of being back, I had a delivery turn up, my new Alienware Mx11. and being the gaming geek I am, I couldn't wait to get it switched on and start to try it out. As soon as I see them lights come on, I was like a kid at Christmas, and the first thing I downloaded was World of Warcraft. I'm on this game everyday, before and after training. I have 4 level 80 characters, 2 king slayers 1, 25 man heroic king slayer, and my main character is called crimsondeath, level 80 frost dps death knight. I also play alot of Call of Duty - Modern Warfare. I am 7th Prestige, so also put alot of time and tears into this game too haha.
Just as I thought the excitement couldn't get any better, I get news that the WEC, who I currently fight for, are merging with the UFC, the biggest name in MMA! To fight for the UFC is every fighters dream, and even though I was fighting for the best company for the smaller fighters like me, to now be a UFC fighter and not have to explain to people why I wasn't one already, and that I fought for the same company (as the UFC owns WEC) just makes it easier. There will now be more of a chance that I can fight in my home town infront of my friends and family soon! But with that said, I have to get by my next opponent in December, the last WEC show ever.
So I am back in Miami with team and house mate, Mike Brown, and training hard right away, working on my cardio alot, and my wrestling. My opponent has not been confirmed yet, but I am getting ready for any opponent they give me, training with guys like Thiago Alves, JZ, Mike Brown and the rest of the guys at American Top Team. I expect my next fight to be tough, as there are no easy fight in the WEC, and I am at the highest level.
The fight is in Phoenix, AZ, Dec 16th, and I will be taking my Alienware along with me, its the perfect size for me to play WoW at the airport, and then to use on the flight. Normally the worst part of a fight is the week running up to it, you are cutting weight and can't really go anywhere and don't feel like it either, so sitting in hotel room watching TV and playing video games is all I do. Looking forward to Black ops coming out in a few days, this will my next purchase.
Thanks for taking the time to read me go on, and Thanks to Alienware for the support. I fully recommend the MX11, it's as good as the people who gave it top awards say, it's perfect for my lifestyle, and I have a few busy months with flying and traveling, with the holidays coming up quick. and the MX11 is going to fit in nicely, and give me something to do at the airports and hotels.. and at home of course.
all the best
