Alienware at QuakeCon 2011

Join us at QuakeCon 2011 in Dallas, TX from August 4th to 6th. We'll be rolling in the Alienware H1 Hummer with the full family of Alienware desktops and laptops, the most powerful gaming systems in the universe. Check out the games that will be available and jump in some mini-competitions and you could win an Alienware M14x laptop.

Our schedule each day at QuakeCon 2011 looks a little something like this:

10 - 11 AM  //  Free Play Games

Free Play Games – So Many Games to Choose From!
Quake Live, Brink, Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Payday: The Heist
10 - 11 AM // 1:30 - 2:30 PM // 5 - 6 PM

Spend the hour by trying out first-person shooters Quake Live or Brink on the most powerful gaming systems in the universe. Or perhaps you're more interested in playing something more mentally challenging then Portal 2 Co-Op with a friend is our prescription for you. But if you're looking more for some quiet time alone, then try surviving the horrors of Left 4 Dead 2 in 3D and NVidia Surround. Already "been there, done that", then be one of the first to play the yet-to-be release heist game, Payday.

6v6 Team Play
11 - 12 PM // 4 - 5 PM

Dodge, dip, duck, dive, and dodge your way into an Alienware dog tag and a ticket for the Alienware M14x laptop drawing at the end of QuakeCon on Saturday. Team BLU will attempt to takeover Team RED’s base on one of three maps: cp_gravelpit, cp_steel, and cp_junction. The team that can obtain victory shall be rewarded the spoils.

4-Player Team Survival
12 - 1:30 PM

The only thing worse than dying, is dying faster that your opponents. Play with friends and strangers alike as you try to stay alive longer than all of the other teams. The top three survival times will earn themselves swag worthy of a survivor based on their final standings on the leader board. Don't miss out on your opportunity to show the world that you're the person to get advice from on how to survive the zombie apocalypse.

Quake Live - This is my boomstick!
12-Player FFA
2:30 - 4 PM

Enter the arena, as you face off against 11 other competitors to earn a spot into the 12-player FFA finals. The top two fraggers in each round will get a prize based on their placement and earn themselves a spot in the FFA finals. The arena is without mercy as you attempt to gib your opponents into a prize worthy of a Quake Live dominator.
